2 Days Marrakech – Zagora – Marrakech

DAY 1: Marrakech – Zagora

We will start the day by picking you up punctually at your Riad or hotel. Our trip will take us towards the majestic High Atlas Mountains, crossing the impressive port of TIZI N'TICHKA. During the tour, we will stop at various strategic points that offer impressive panoramic views and allow us to observe life in the picturesque Berber villages. Our next destination is AIT BEN HADDOU, a fortified town that is an authentic architectural treasure of Southern Morocco. Here, we will explore its emblematic Kasbah, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This historic structure has been the setting for numerous films, including "Gladiator" and "The Jewel of the Nile." Free time for lunch will be followed by a route through the majestic Anti Atlas Mountains, where each stop is an opportunity to appreciate unforgettable views. Finally, around 5:00 p.m., we will arrive at the gates of the Zagora desert. Here, we will ride dromedaries to explore the landscape and enjoy the spectacular sunset before arriving at our camp. An authentic evening awaits us, with a dinner accompanied by drums and Berber music under the starry blanket of the desert.

DAY 2: Zagora – Marrakech

The new day will find us early, ready to witness the beauty of the sunrise from a dune near the camp. After breakfast, we will return to Zagora by camel. From there, we will continue our journey in a 4×4 vehicle towards the spectacular Draa Valley, famous for its countless palm groves that line the Draa River, the longest in Morocco. The oases and palm groves contrast with the desert landscape, creating an impressive image along the valley. As we progress, we will cross the Anti Atlas, making several stops to enjoy the impressive views. We will arrive in Ouarzazate, where we will explore the impressive Kasbah of Taourirt, one of the best preserved Berber fortresses. We will also visit the Cinema Museum and the city's film studios, which have been the scene of numerous productions. Our return to Marrakech will take us through the TIZI N’TICHKA port, with a stop for lunch. Finally, upon arriving at sunset, we will drop you off at your Riad or hotel in Marrakech, ending an enriching experience in the South of Morocco.
