8 Days – Fez – Merzouga – Marrakech

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN FEZ

Welcome to Fez. At the agreed time, our guide will meet you at the airport and accompany you to the Riad, located in the historic part of the city. Depending on your arrival time, you will have the opportunity to explore the Medina of Fez. Enjoy dinner at the Riad, where you will have your first contact with exquisite Moroccan cuisine.

DAY 2: FEZ

Today a day of immersion unfolds in Fez, one of the country's imperial cities. After breakfast, our team will pick you up to begin a guided tour of the Medina. As you walk through its streets, you will go back in time, surrounded by the vitality of its labyrinths and narrow alleys. Along the way, you will find magnificent mosques, Koranic schools and unique neighborhoods such as Andalusian and Jewish. Once the visit is over, you will have free time to enjoy a Hamman, taste tea or simply continue exploring Fez.

DAY 3: FEZ – IFRANE – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA DESERT

After a tasty Moroccan breakfast, we will leave for the desert, crossing the Middle Atlas. Our first stop will be in Ifrane, known as the Moroccan Switzerland, with unique architecture and wide avenues. We will continue until we reach the cedar forest, one of the largest in the world, inhabited by monkeys. We will pass by lakes and enjoy a typical lunch. We will cross the Ziz Valley, seeing picturesque villages, and finally we will arrive at Merzouga. There, we will ride dromedaries to enjoy the sunset over the dunes. We will arrive at our nomadic camp, where we will have dinner and be surrounded by Berber songs and a starry sky.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA

Today you will experience the immensity of the desert. When we get up early, we will look for the highest dune to capture the sunrise in a unique photographic image. After a copious breakfast at the camp, we will return to Merzouga and change the camels for a 4×4 to surround the large dune and enjoy its characteristics, with more than 250 meters of altitude. We will explore the Paris-Dakar route and visit a nomadic settlement to share tea and learn about their lives and customs. Before lunch, we will visit Khamlia and attend a Gnawa music concert. The afternoon is free to explore the town or enjoy the adrenaline on quads among the dunes. Dinner and accommodation at the Riad.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT – RISSANI – TODRA GORGES – DADÉS VALLEY

Today a memorable sunrise awaits us on the last day in the desert. We will look for the highest dune to witness a sunrise that will leave you speechless. After breakfast, we will return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. We will leave for Rissani to visit its traditional market and then continue towards Erfoud, where you can visit a fossilized marble factory. En route, we will see the impressive Todra Gorges, a canyon carved by the Todra River. We will have lunch and continue towards the Dadés Valley, with its famous and colorful gorges. Dinner and overnight in Riad.

DAY 6: DADÉS VALLEY – OUARZAZATE – KASBAH OF AIT BEN HADDOU – HIGH ATLAS – MARRAKECH

After a nutritious breakfast, we will leave the rock formations behind and immerse ourselves in a landscape of fascinating ruined kasbahs that bear witness to their ancient splendor. We will admire the Rose Valley and the Skoura palm grove before arriving in Ouarzazate. We will visit the Taourirt kasbah and the Atlas Studios film studios. We will arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, the setting for many films, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After lunch, we will head to Marrakech and experience a contrast between the colors of the landscapes and the bustle of the Jemaa el-Fna square. Dinner and overnight in Riad.

DAY 7: MARRAKECH

After breakfast, the guided tour of Marrakech, one of the 4 imperial cities, will begin. They will discover its rich heritage and monuments recognized by UNESCO, such as the iconic Jemaa el Fna square. They will be able to explore the different neighborhoods, from modern Guéliz to the historic Medina with its winding streets and outdoor activities. The day will be full of unique sounds, aromas and colors that define the city. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 8: MARRAKECH – AIRPORT

After breakfast and depending on your flight schedule, you will have time for a last walk and say goodbye to the essence of Marrakech. Then, we will accompany you to the airport, where we will say goodbye at the boarding gate.
